All suspects are considered innocent unless convicted in a court of law.

August 9

• 11:29 a.m. 1400 block Eileen St. – Power tools were stolen. The garage has no lock and cannot be secured, and was reportedly missing a miter saw, a 1/2 drill a 7 1/4 saw and an impact driver with a combined value of $500. A report was taken.

• 11:44 a.m. 1300 block South Federal – A welfare check was requested for a 79-year-old subject. Officers found him to be OK.

• 2:42 p.m. West Main St. – Shaliyah Williamson, 20, Phenix City, Alabama, was a passenger in a car which was stopped for speeding and found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued a citation for that offense. 

• 5:14 p.m. 700 block West Main Street – Levon Jaure, 40, Riverton, was arrested for violating conditions of his probation with a BAC of .210.

• 11:01 p.m. 600 block Eagle Drive – A caller reported kids throwing rocks at his windows. A report is pending but involvements show three juveniles aged 11, 13 and 14 were contacted.

August 10

• 6:43 a.m. 2100 West Sunset Drive — A man being discharged from the hospital said he had no place to go and wanted to turn himself in for several outstanding warrants. 

• 12:51 p.m. 800 block East Sunset Drive — There was a collision between a blue 2010 Chevrolet PU and a gray 2016 Ford passenger car. No injuries were reported.

• 2:20 p.m. Teeter Park — A group of people were yelling at each other; officers responded and confirmed the dispute was only verbal. Corey Hill, 29, Riverton, was found to have a Fremont County warrant and was arrested.

• 3:22 p.m. 1300 block South Federal Boulevard — A Ruger LCP .380 auto pistol valued at $250, last seen in January 2022, was reported missing and entered into NCIC.

• 3:43 p.m. 900 block West Park Avenue — Brandon Hartwell, 35, Riverton, was arrested on a two-day sanction for a probation violation after he was reportedly found to have a device he wasn’t supposed to have during a routine check.

• 6:05 p.m. City Park — Officers responded to a report of two men fighting at City Park, but were unable to locate any fight in the area.

• 6:11 p.m. 800 block North Federal Boulevard — Jaylee Sittingeagle, 28, Arapahoe, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant.

• 6:59 p.m. Spire Drive — Officers conducted a welfare check on four children, with the oldest being six, after receiving a report that the oldest child had told someone that the children hadn’t eaten that day and the person meant to be watching them while their mom was gone was asleep. The children were reportedly found to be OK and in the care of a neighbor; the mother was notified about the event.

• 12:17 p.m. City Park — A 46-year-old woman was transported to the ER; she was reportedly kicked and punched in the City Park bathrooms two days ago.
