Larry Paul Houghteling, at the age of 80, passed away early Monday morning, July 31, 2023. He was born and raised in Pinconning, Michigan, but lived in many places throughout the U.S. during his lifetime. He loved the Southwest the most, and ended up moving his family from Michigan to New Mexico in 1994. When the kids were raised, he wanted to experience life in beautiful Colorado and even designed and built his own log cabin home there. His final place he called home was here in Riverton, WY where he not only created a successful handyman/stump removal business, but also became a staple of the community. And, anyone who knew him knew he liked to barter and make that trade! Larry was loved by a lot of people, and many felt he was more family than a friend. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and the list can go on and on. Larry will be dearly missed by many.
