Riverton’s 41st annual Arts in Action Day in the Park will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverton City Park, on July 8.

The Guns ‘n’ Hoses dodgeball tournament fundraiser to benefit Laiton Ivie will start at 5 p.m. on July 8, at the Riverton High School. Admission costs $10; all proceeds will go toward medical and cost of living expenses for Laiton Ivie.
Register for the Riverton Soap Box Car Derby by July 8. Peewee division registration costs $45 per team; two member straight away and crazy class four member registration costs $25 per team member. The 43rd annual Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally will be held on July 14-16, with balloons launching from the CWC soccer fields at 6 a.m. on each day (weather permitting). There will be a pilot/sponsor social starting at 5 p.m. on July 14. During the Saturday night balloon glow, there will be live music and food vendors.
