Arrests
• Tanner C. Foust, 27, Riverton, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
• Raymond E. Price, 74, Lander, was arrested for contempt of court.
• Samuel A. Teran, 28, Riverton, was arrested for contempt of court.
• Jonathan B. Engavo, 63, Riverton, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant.
February 17
• 11:06 a.m. North First Street at East Ramshorn, Dubois – A crash between two trucks was reported.
• 7:35 p.m. 100 Hutchinson Road – Deputies assisted a motorist who reported a crash.
February 19
• 2:36 p.m. 76 Fir Road, Dubois – A hit-and-run crash was reported at this address.
• 2:42 p.m. Pebble Drive, Riverton – Deputies are investigating a report of someone breaking out windows at this location.
• 7:22 p.m. Missouri Valley Road – A motorist called for help stuck in their own driveway and could not back up or go forward and did not know what to do. A deputy and a neighbor helped free the motorist.
February 20
• 12:22 p.m. 700 block North Federal – A business reported a theft of liquor valued at $47.44 that was captured on video. Police reviewed the video and were able to make a positive identification of a 27-year-old Riverton woman. A citation for shoplifting was written to be served on her.
• 12:34 p.m. 300 Antelope Driver – A caller requested an officer to check two vehicles for drugs whose owner is deceased. An officer located two zip lock bags containing what appeared to be psilocybin mushrooms which were taken into custody to be destroyed.
• 2:21 p.m. 700 block East Lincoln – A caller said a Jeep was stuck in the snow along a fence. The subject eventually freed themselves from the snow bank and went home. The driver of the Jeep was contacted and identified as Marland Underwood, 44, Riverton. He was found to be intoxicated and a was arrested for DWUI. At the station he provided a breath sample which indicated a BAC of .305.
• 7:20 p.m. 700 block North Federal – A subject was growling at another subject in the alley and would not leave. Doug Bigmedicine, 45, Ehtete, was arrested for public intoxication.
• 9:01 p.m. 1400 block West Park – Jocelyn White, 41, Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant.
• 10:00 p.m. Crow Avenue – A report is pending on a caller who said the house was full of smoke. Everyone was evacuated from the home.
• 1000 block East Park at North 12th East – A caller said a group of juveniles had broken into a car and fled. Officers located and chased down three juveniles in the area and recovered a Colt .22 pistol which they admitted to having stolen from a vehicle. A 16-year-old Riverton boy was charged with curfew and felony theft and a 17-year-old Riverton boy and 16-year-old Riverton girl were each charged with curfew violations. The incident is under investigation

• 10:43 a.m. 1575 East Monroe Avenue – A caller reported two men beating and kicking a dog. Deputies responded and reported the dog was OK. A report is pending.
• 2:47 a.m. Wind River Reservation – Animal bites were reported and the BIA Wind River Police responded.
• 3:03 p.m. Fremont County – A runaway was reported. Deputies are investigating.
• 7:49 p.m. 5690 Highway 287, Riverton – A motorist reported tires on a vehicle were slashed.
• The Fremont County Coroner’s office responded on two calls for deceased individuals.
February 21
• 7:31 a.m. 900 block West Fremont – A bag of clothing valued at $250 was taken from a white 2018 Honda which had been parked on the street.
• 7:46 a.m. 800 Block Webbwood Road – A school bus drive by was reported as a Silver 2020 Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle has been identified and further action is pending contact with the registered owner.
• 11:03 a.m. Shoshoni area – A larceny that occurred here is under investigation. No further details were released.
• 11:52 a.m. 900 block N. Elm Street – A report is pending on an allegation of stalking.
• 1:30 p.m. East Lincoln at North Broadway – Two subjects were fighting, one was on the ground. The victim was bleeding and asked for an ambulance. A 47-year-old Riverton male was cited and released.
• 1:44 p.m. 460 Railroad Street, Lander, Fremont County Detention Center – A fight inside the Detention Center was reported on Feb. 16.
• 1:48 p.m. 2001 West Sunset, RHS – A report is pending on a fight but a 17-year-old boy was cited.
• 2:39 p.m. 816 North Federal, RPD Counter – Joshua Wallowingbull, 47, Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication with a BAC of .212.
• 3:06 p.m. Irwin Lane, Lander – An investigation has been launched into a threat complaint.
• 3:13 p.m. 1750 West Sunset – Three females were spotted fighting. A report is pending.
• 3:17 p.m. 840 Major Avenue, RMS – A report is pending from a school resource officer on a tobacco problem at the Middle School.
• 4:40 p.m. Riverton area – A sexual assault incident that allegedly occurred two weeks ago is now under investigation.
• 5:27 pm. Blue Shale Road, Riverton – A Riverton FCSD#25 school bus with a driver and 14 passengers on board was stuck along with seven other vehicles. A Fremont County road grader assisted the vehicles to get free of the snow.
• 6:28 p.m. 1200 West Main – Police received a report of a male subject trying to shoplift who had assaulted store personnel. Officers followed tracks in fresh snow which led to where the suspect had apparently been picked up by a car. Steaks with a value of $264.77 which he was attempting to steal were recovered. Surveillance tape of the incident have been reviewed with identification of one of those involved – and the investigation continues.
• 10:51 p.m. 200 block North First Street – A mother called police to report her 16-year-old son was smoking. The mother and son were both counseled and a vaporizer was confiscated for later destruction.
• 12:00 a.m. – College Hill Drive – A three-vehicle crash occurred on this street. A report is pending.
February 22
• 12:31 a.m. 100 block North Broadway – A gunshot was heard in the parking and a man was trying to enter the business. Johnny Roberts, 37, Arapahoe, was arrested for aggravated assault for threatening others with a 9-mm handgun and firing it into the air. He was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon into a liquor establishment. A handgun was recovered and logged into evidence.
• 4:55 a.m. North Second East and East Main – A motorist called asking for assistance in getting a vehicle unstuck from the snow.

February 17
• 10:58 a.m. 100 North Sixth and Main Street – A fire on top of a building was handled by the Lander Volunteer Fire Department.
• 12:26 p.m. 600 block Main Street – A fraud was reported when a check belonging to the reporting party was cashed by an unknown subject.
• 7:07 p.m. 100 North Fifth Street – Ariasteed Bell, 25, Lander, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
February 18
• 2:02 a.m. North Third and Washakie – Steven Shedd, 27, Lander, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
• 7:05 a.m. Smith Creek Road – A male subject was found deceased in his apartment. The coroner was called.
• 11:46 a.m. 1100 block Main Street – Jeffrey Underwood, 36, Riverton, was arrested on three outstanding Fremont County warrants.
• 2:17 p.m. 500 block Market Street – A PlayStation5 system, including controller and airpods was reported stolen. There are no suspects.
February 19
• 1:15 a.m. East Main Street – A violation of a protective order was reported after the subject tried kicking in a door and breaking a window out of a truck. The incident is under investigation.
• 12:08 p.m. 100 block Valley View Drive – An unlocked vehicles was entered overnight, the battery was dead. Nothing appeared missing.
February 20
• 8:32 p.m. 725 Main Street – A shoplifting incident at Mr. D’s Food Center is under investigation. One male and one female fled the scene.
February 21
• 12:44 535 East Main Street – A call for an elevator rescue was a false alarm.
• 1:33 p.m. 223 Lincoln Street – A male subject entered the Lincoln Street Baker and took the keys to the business. There was no additional information reported.
• 1:38 p.m. 1731 Main Street – Damage to a vehicle on the car lot was discovered when snow was removed from the vehicle. There was damage to the hood and a headlight. A report was taken.
