Lander Police reports

February 6
• 7:08 a.m. 500 block Main Street – A truck was reported stolen. The vehicle was recovered by the LPD. Katrenia Anderson, 31, Lander, was cited for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
February 7
• 8:37 a.m. 100 block Jefferson Street – Police contacted and warned a 14-year-old female who was refusing to go to school and had been absent for 16 days.
• 11:18 a.m. 100 block North First Street – Jeffrey Brown, 42, Lander, was arrested for driving while under the influence and two out-of-county warrants.
• 1:36 p.m. on South First Street – Police were told of threats made against a person via Instagram. The subject was given options.
• 7:53 p.m. North Second at Market Street – Bryan Beron, 34, Dubois, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant.
February 8
• 10:01 a.m. Lander area – A school reported the possible sexual assault on a minor. The incident is under investigation.
• 2:26 p.m. 800 block Washington Street – Desarae Custeau, 32, Lander, was arrested on a LPD warrant.
Riverton Police reports
February 6
• 10:32 a.m. 600 block North Federal – Samuel Whiteplume, 41, Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.
• 12:39 a.m. East Main and North Broadway – A 76-year-old male was struck by a Ford pickup as he was crossing Main in the crosswalk. The man claimed he was not injured and there was no damage to the truck. The driver of the truck said that he had been turning onto Main and looking the other way for oncoming traffic and had not seen the man.
• 1:32 p.m. 2001 West Sunset Drive, RHS – A tobacco problem was reported at the high school. A report is pending.
• 3:29 p.m. 2001 West Sunset Drive, RHS – A 16-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl were each cited for fighting.
• 3:58 p.m. 700 block South Broadway – Jessica Goodwin-Soliz, 41, Kinnear, was arrested at the request of probation and parole.
• 5:18 p.m. 124 North 5th West – Tonkin Activities Center – Brian Sunrhodes, 38, Fort Washakie, was arrested for public intoxication.
February 7
• 1:15 a.m. 100 block North Broadway – Dudley C’Bearing, 36, Fort Washakie, was arrested for trespassing.
• 11:14 a.m. Blackfoot Avenue – A report is pending on an alleged aggressive dog charging people in the neighborhood.
• 12:39 p.m. 500 block East Lincoln – A window was broken out of a one-ton pickup parked on Sixth Street. A report is pending.
• 2:52 p.m. 600 block North Federal – Aaron C’Hair,45, Ethete, was arrested for public intoxication.
• 2:55 p.m. 100 block South Federal – A room full of people refusing to leave a motel room were contacted. The room was not rented by them. When officers arrived, the subjects left on request but one of them was served with a trespass notice.
• 4:09 p.m. 1300 block West Park Avenue – Shawna Bigknife, 31, Kinnear, was arrested for disturbance.
• 4:19 p.m. 1400 block West Park Avenue – An investigation has been initiated in reference to a Department of Family Services case in which a child was placed in their custody.
• 4:58 p.m. 800 block West Park Avenue – A 13-year-old who had been at home due to illness, snuck out a window and was reported as a runaway until returning home sometime later.
• 9:55 p.m. 100 block North Broadway Avenue – This call was initiated by an argument over a cigarette. The fellow who had supposedly pulled a gun on another in the parking lot was located and gave consent to search his person and his backpack. There was no gun.
February 8
• 8:59 a.m. Riverton area – The reporting party reported she was scammed out of $2,400 via the Internet.
• 11:15 a.m. 300 block Antelope Drive – A 62-year-old male was found deceased on the floor of his home. The coroner is investigating.
• 1:45 p.m. 600 block East Madison Avenue – A 14-year-old Riverton boy was cited for property destruction for destroying classroom furniture and battery for allegedly shoving one teacher and striking another in the face with a book.
• 5:04 p.m. Kinnikinnick Drive – A 62-year-old woman was found deceased. Police reported there was no indication of foul play. The coroner is investigating.
• 5:25 p.m. 1300 block East Washington Avenue – Police received a report of a male attempting to break into vehicles there. A 25-year-old man was contacted. It could not be determined if any vehicles had actually been entered.
• 6:56 p.m. 600 block South Broadway – A police report indicated a 12-year-old girl had received an emergency message from another 12-year-old girl. A report is pending.
• 9:12 p.m. 300 block East Fremont – A female was reportedly being disorderly in a motel room. Kimberly Potter, 34, Riverton, was contacted and taken into custody when she was found to have a Riverton warrant.
• 9:48 p.m. SageWest Health Care Hospital – An ambulance crew reported a patient had a weapon that needed to be relinquished. A report is pending.
February 9
• 2:06 a.m. 300 block North Federal – Four occupants of a motel room were being disorderly, fighting and slamming doors. A 14-year-old Lander girl was arrested for MIP and later released to her aunt. The other occupants of the room were evicted.
Fremont County Sheriff’s reports
• Lola F. Brown, 46, Arapahoe, was arrested for contempt of court.
• Trishanna J. Monroe, 44, Ethete, was arrested after her probation was revoked.
• Jack C. Noe, 26, Pavillion, arrested for driving while under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
February 4
• 6:15 p.m. South Illinois Street, Hudson – A handgun was reportedly stolen from a home when the occupants were on vacation. The case is under investigation.
• 6:17 p.m. Highway 20 and Brannon Road, Shoshoni – A vehicle had broken down along side of the highway. When the owner returned, the vehicle had been broken into with a backpack containing around $100 and other items were stolen.
February 6
• 11:22 a.m, Fremont County – A bad check in the amount of $520 was passed and there was a $30 dollar fee also charged. The case is under investigation.
• 12:29 p.m. North Fork Road, Lander – A theft of medications was reported.
• 3:27 p.m. South Kansas Avenue, Hudson – A 76-year-old man was found deceased. There was no indication of foul play. The coroner is investigating.
• 7:28 p.m. SageWest Health Care, Riverton – A patient was reportedly assaulted by a family member. The incident is under investigation.
February 7
• 1:22 p.m. Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, Lander – A person came in to report and identity theft. No suspects are identified at this time.
