Shannon M. Amos, 54, of Arapahoe, was arrested for no insurance, registration violation, driving under suspension, and a failure to appear warrant.
Debra J. Elkboy, 43, of Arapahoe, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and interference with a peace officer.
Raelynn M. Hatch, 30, Riverton, was arrested for contempt of court.
Linda L. Headley, 51, Ethete, was arrested for contempt of court.
Trevor D. Hyatt, 37, Lander, was arrested for delivery of a schedule II controlled substance.
Maria L. Smith, 42, Lander, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Sade M. Tidzump, 33, Lander, was arrested on a CAST violation.
Guy M. Brown, 43, Fort Washakie, was arrested on a revocation of probation warrant.
Carl A. King, 35, Riverton, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
8:11 a.m. 300 Cliff Drive, Devil’s Pit – A vehicle went off the road and was abandoned.
11:39 a.m. Gardens North Drive, Riverton – A vehicle struck mailboxes
12:15 p.m. 76 Blackfoot Avenue, Riverton – A mobile home was reported to be on fire with people standing outside.
3:31 p.m. Morgan Lane, Lander – A chicken coop was reported to be on fire.
4:33 p.m. Harris Bridge Road, Pavillion – A reported scam is under investigation
7:13 a.m. Squaw Creek Road, Lander – A vehicle slid off the road into a snow bank, no injuries were reported.
9:13 a.m. Horse Creek Road, Dubois – A vehicle vs. deer collision was reported.
4:14 p.m. Kinnear Spur Road at Angler Road – A vehicle slid off the road and was wedged on a hill. The driver was cited for speeds too fast for the conditions
11:42 p.m. Milepost 67 Wyoming Highway 28 – A vehicle slid off of the road, no injuries, no damage
1:08 p.m. Milepost 57, Highway 26, Dubois – a black Chevy truck went off the road and struck a fence.
8:47 p.m. 1500 block East Monroe, Riverton – A minor car fire was reported.
12:27 p.m. 20 Gardens North Drive – A caller trying to buy firewood requested a deputy as the seller wanted the transaction done on Google Pay or with BitCoin.
4:17 p.m. 35 Dutch Ed Lane, Lander – A man reported someone drove over his mailbox.
6:07 p.m. Lander area – A caller reported being threatened. The incident is under investigation.
12:57 a.m. Lone Bear Lane, Ethete – A stolen vehicle was recovered by the BIA Wind River Police Department
A Structure Fire was reported at 11498 Highway 789, Riverton; A vehicle fire was reported at 1247 17 Mile Road
January 10 Lander
Multiple vehicle incidents, including a two-vehicle accident on Baldwin Creek. (No Police response necessary)
North 10th Street: Vehicle in the middle of the road, prohibiting turning due to snow piles in the road.
Main Street: Smoke alarm reported, Lander Fire responded, Nothing further reported
Main St. and 4th Ave: A report was received of harassment and threatening behavior. Police took a report.
300 South 5th Street at Sweetwater – Someone dumped a bunch of trash on the street. It was collected and disposed of.
800 block North 3rd – A child was choking but spit up a penny. The child was Okay.
900 block of Diane Court – A two-vehicle crash was reported, and there were no injuries.
North 9th and Lincoln Street – The city’s Code Enforcement Officer will follow up on a snow plowing complaint on the street.
at About 5 a.m. – Highway 26 near Mt. View Cemetery – A vehicle plowed into a number of Pronghorn, leaving multiple animals dead
8:35 a.m. Milepost 75, Highway 26/287 at Crowheart – A semi-truck struck a deer.
4:47 p.m. Milepost 88, Wyoming 789 near Hudson – A fatal vehicle crash was reported with one woman killed (see Latest News post)
9:24 p.m. 800 Block North Federal – A Riverton Police Officer was struck by “an old Jeep” and suffered a hand injury.
January 10 Riverton
2:00 a.m. 730 E Adams & S Federal Blvd.
Nature change from TRAFFIC OFFENSE to CON SUB POSESSI – Officers pulled a vehicle over for expired plates and while in contact with the driver noted a number of drug-related items in plain view inside the vehicle. One thing led to another and the
driver, Michael Downer, 36 Years of age, from Riverton was arrested for possession of 3
grams of Marijuana wax, 3 grams of Methamphetamine, and possession of Psilocybin.
He was also cited for no insurance.
8:18 a.m. 800 blk N Federal; Caller states that there is a male subject in the lobby, refusing to leave and trespassing. First name of Brian, a 37-year-old male left on request after he was served a formal trespass notice for the business.
9:10:07 a.m. Parkin issue Apache Ave.: Reporting person states a black Chevy SUV is blocking his driveway and is parked on the wrong side of the road. Reporting person states he may not be able to exit his residence. SUV may not have a license. The SUV was removed by the owner.
10:34 a.m. 300 blk N. Federal Blvd. Riverton: Warrant served on Joshua Headley,32 of Riverton. The subject was arrested on Warrant.
11:39 a.m. 1400 Block of Redwood Drive, Riverton: Theft from a motor vehicle:
Reporting Person states that someone rummaged through her vehicle around midnight, although there is no report of damage or missing items. The report is pending
1:46 p.m. 700 block of Wolf Creek Drive, Riverton: Reporting Person states that someone is trying to enter his dwelling. When officers arrived, there was no suspicious activity and RP was okay.
2:45 p.m. 100 W. Main St.: Accident Report: Minor damage to both vehicles, no injuries. Slick roads are a contributing factor.
4:28 p.m. 800 Block of N. Federal: McDonald’s, Male subject not supposed to be around employee. The subject is wearing black pants, boots, and a brown leather coat.
6:55 p.m. 300 blk 399 Block of E. Fremont Ave. Dog at large, possibly Viscious:
7:07 p.m.100 blk E Adams Ave.: Highly intoxicated Male refusing to leave.
The subject is Daniel Manzanares, 42 Years old, Arapaho WY.
7:35 p.m. E. Park and N.. 16th Street: Intoxicated person strikes stop sign and power pole. Kathryn Savillo, 28 years old from Riverton driving a 2011 Nissan Passenger car, Failed the sobriety test and was charged with DWUI
