The Riverton Police Department is in search of the owner of a tan and white medium sized pit bull involved in a brutal attack on a pedestrian on the bike path south of the Center of Hope on Thanksgiving eve. The incident took place between 8:30 and 9 a.m. The dog was with two young Caucasian males who headed north with the dog. If anyone has video surveillance in the area, please check. The RPD is in desperate need to verify the dog’s vaccination status according to a post on its Facebook page.
