Area veterans and their families are invited to a special Wind River Schools Veterans Day program on Thursday, November 10, 2022, beginning at 1 p.m. Students and staff would like to use this opportunity to say thanks for the dedication and sacrifice made by area veterans. National Honor Society students will meet veterans and their families at the front door of the high school, 1994 Cougar Drive, Pavillion, and escort them to their seats for the program. During the event, students will perform musical numbers, a tribute speech will be delivered by the student body president, “Taps” will be played, and a slide show will be given. A small thank-you will also be provided for veterans to take home and enjoy. “If you are not able to attend please know that we truly appreciate your selfless service to protect our lives, liberty, and our individual pursuit of happiness,” school leaders shared.
