
Riverton Police report

November 4
At 7:56 a.m. officers received a report of a utility trailer stolen from West Sunset Drive. Video footage is being reviewed.
At 9:04 a.m. Reland Littleshield, 29, Riverton, was arrested on a county warrant following a traffic stop and cited for no vehicle registration and no insurance.
At 12:25 p.m. a 17-year-old male was cited for passing a school bus with flashing red lights in Riverton.
At 1:41 p.m. police asked a 50-year-old male passed out on the 800 block of North Federal to move along.
At 7:02 p.m. police received a report that a man had “choked out” a child that morning on East Madison Avenue. A report is pending.
At 8:02 p.ml police received a report that a woman had destroyed the reporting party’s house on East Pine Street, including pouring paint on his clothing and cutting it up, as well as stealing items. A report was taken.
November 5
At 9:53 a.m. police responded to a report of a person having trouble staying awake on the 1000 block of Federal Boulevard. Officers contacted James Large, 35, Ethete, and reportedly observed a strong odor of marijuana. He reportedly admitted to having the substance and produced 35 grams of the substance labeled “THC” and “contains marijuana.” He also had a Fremont County warrant and was taken into custody.
At 12:16 p.m. police responded to a burglar alarm on the 200 block of East Fremont Avenue and found an open door but clear of suspicious activity.
At 2:54 p.m. police responded to a report of a man passed out on East Fremont Avenue. Marty Moore, 41, was arrested for alleged public intoxication.
At 7 p.m. officers asked a man to move along who was reportedly kicking the wall and beating on mailboxes at the Post Office.
November 6
At 12:33 a.m. police responded to a report of a burglar alarm going off at Famous Footwear. The front window of the business was broken out with a rock, but no entry was gained. Damage was estimated at $800.
At 1:34 a.m. police conducted a welfare check on the 100 block of South Federal.
At 3:19 a.m. Sarah Haworth, 18, Riverton, was arrested on a county warrant on the 500 block of Federal Boulevard.
At 4:52 a.m. police received a report of a rock thrown through a business window on West Main Street. Security video is being reviewed and no entry was gained.
At 8:09 a.m. police responded to a call from a man who said he and his wife had gotten into a fight the night before and she wouldn’t give him his keys to leave on North Ninth Street. After investigating, officers arrested Victor Collins, 41, Riverton, on alleged domestic battery.
At 10:32 a.m. officers received a report of online harassment. According to police the reporting party is a registered sex offender and officers spoke with both parties who agreed to back off.
At 11:31 a.m. officers responded to a report of a man passed out on East Pershing Avenue. The man was asked to move on.
At 12:38 p.m. police received a report of a found chihuahua, which was returned to its owner.
At 4:35 p.m. police responded to a report of a man passed out at the bandshell, who was told to move along.
At 5:58 p.m. police responded to a report of a scam in which a 16-year-old believed a caller who said he was the FBI would arrest her if she did not wire money.
At 6:11 p.m. officers responded to a fender bender in a parking lot on the 1500 block of North Federal.
At 8:54 p.m. police broke up a fight in a parking lot on the 800 block of South Federal. A 16-year-old girl was cited for fighting and CHanel Azbill, 30, Fort Washakie, was arrested on a city warrant and for allegedly fighting in public. Azbill’s BAC was measured at .225%.
At 9:54 p.m. police stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic violation on the 1500 block of East Monroe and found a passenger, David Lonebear, 39, Grand Junction, Colo., reportedly gave them a false name and attempted to run from the scene. He was charged with resisting arrest and a Colorado warrant. Driver Kia Tucker, 41, Riverton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana and methamphetamine) after residue was reportedly found on her person.
November 7
At 9:58 a.m. Aloysius Piper, 55, Ethete, was contacted in the 1700 block of North Federal. He had been issued a written trespass notice for that business some time ago. He was arrested for trespassing.
At 11:10 a.m. a hit-and-run crash was reported in the 1600 block of West Main. Officers reviewed security footage of the area and were able to identify the fleeing vehicle and its 59-year-old female driver. She was contacted and identified as the driver at fault. A report was completed.
At 1:04 p.m. a 17-year-old Riverton girl was cited for possession of THC at Riverton High School.
At 2:54 p.m. in the 400 block of Mary Drive, a reporting party called to say he had witnessed two individuals get out of a vehicle and load a table saw, which was sitting in the driveway, into the rear of their truck along with several other items. He confronted them and they drove off. The resident at that address was not home and officers are still trying to get a hold of them.
At 3:29 p.m. at 800 Rose Marie Drive. A patient walked out of a nursing facility and was walking in the alley using a walker. An officer stood by while staff convinced the 81-year-old to return to the nursing home.
At 3:38 p.m. police received a call from the 1100 block of West Main Street of a man laying down and not breathing. A 52-year-old Riverton man described as transient was found deceased in a rear parking lot under some cardboard boxes. This is an area frequented by local homeless people and there was no visible signs of trauma or struggle and the fellow may have been trying to stay warm under the boxes. Initial cause of death was speculated as hypothermia but an autopsy will be performed for a final determination. The scene and body were turned over to the Fremont County coroner for further investigation.
At 8:14 p.m. in the 500 block of South Federal a green 2000 Ford Expedition was stopped for having the wrong plates and routine checks for wants run on the occupants. The driver, Jessica Dillon, 37, Riverton, had a Riverton warrant for her arrest and the passenger, Shawnee McGowan, 32, Fort Washakie, had two Fremont County warrants for her arrest. Both subjects were taken into custody. McGowan had allegedly given police a false name when first contacted and so she was also charged with interference.
At 1:01 a.m. officers responded to a report of individuals attempting to gain entry into a room at a residence on the 100 block of South Federal Boulevard. When officers arrived they found the reporting party “became aggressive” and reportedly observed numerous items associated with drug use. Lloyd Wallowingbull, 45, Ethete, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Lander Police report
November 4-7

At 9:15 a.m. at 755 Jefferson Street, a juvenile female wrestler from Wyoming Indian Elementary told a counselor at her school that she “was grabbed” in a locker room at Lander Middle School during a wrestling meet. The LPD has the complaint under investigation.
At 12:15 p.m. at a Lander address, a seven-year-old girl reported that a little boy made her and another girl pull their pants down and touch each other. The LPD has this complaint under investigation as well.
At 3:03 p.m. the Lander Safeway Store reted a shoplifting in which approximately $500 in merchandise was stolen by a subject who left the store in a Jeep Cherokee heading north. The incident is under investigation. The suspect was unable to be located.
At 4:58 p.m. at North Eighth and Jefferson Meliyo Lovato, 18, was arrested on LPD warrants.
At 6:40 p.m. Donnie Ganadonegro, 45, Riverton, was arrested in the 100 block of East Main Street for alleged public intoxication.
At 8:25 p.m This is why you should keep your vehicle locked: in the 100 block of South Fifth Street a woman getting off work went to her vehicle and someone jumped out of it and ran away. The reporting party then reported a cell phone and a wallet was taken out of the vehicle. LPD is also investigating this incident.
November 6
At 12:21 a.m. at the sewer ponds north of town police arrested Tajia Cleveland, 32, Riverton, for alleged use of a controlled substance and possession of heroin and fentanyl.
At 6:13 a.m. at the Blue Ridge Apartments Alyssa Kilcrease, 21, Ethete, was arrested for alleged public intoxication.
At 3:35 p.m. at South Third and Garfield Streets Jeferson Eaglebull, 42, Lander, was arrested for alleged public intoxication and having an open container of alcohol.
November 7
At 11:06 a.m. at 125 Buena Vista Drive vandalism was reported at the City Water Fill Station. Damage was done. The incident is under investigation.
At 12:18 p.m. at Mr. D’s Food Center two juvenile shoplifters, one 15 and the other 17 years of age, were cited for theft, minor in possession of alcohol and trespassing.
