Instead of a parade on Veterans’ Day, this year, organizers are shaking things up and inviting residents to join in the fun with a Friday Night Cruise along Main Street in Riverton.
All are welcome to cruise along Main Street in honor of the men and women who have served the country. Just decorate your vehicle and head to Sutherland’s parking lot at 5:30 p.m. Vehicles with those honoring veteran family members will lead, and all local agencies such as police and fire are encouraged to join in. Vehicles will roll out at 6 p.m. and cruise down Federal to Main Street, turn around at Central Wyoming College to Circle Drive, then to Peck Avenue, right to College View Drive, and back down Main Street.
