Riverton Police Blotter from 9/21/22 to 9/22/22 at 0700 hours. 

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law:

Brandon SunRhodes, 30, Riverton was found passed out in a business in the 800 block of North Federal and was awakened and arrested for Public Intoxication

An officer contacted a fellow who was walking down the middle of the road at 10:44 p.m. and found that he had an active county warrant. Weston Addison, 36, Riverton was arrested. While this was going on loud voices were heard coming from behind a nearby building and officers contacted two other individuals, one of whom was identified as Chasten Moon, 32,  Ethete who had a city warrant and he too was arrested.

Robert Bacon, 37, Riverton, was stopped for driving a truck without license plates at 11:24 p.m. at North Federal and East Fremont. During that stop it was determined that there was an active county warrant for his arrest and the officer also noted two small plastic baggies in plain view in the console with a crystaline substance that looked like methamphetamine. He was arrested and, after arriving at the station, a glass pipe was found in his pocket with residue which, along with the baggies, tested positive for methamphetamine and he was charged with possession of that substance.

Patrol Calls:

A report of vandalism to trail cameras was received at 7:54 a.m. from the 1700 block of West Sunset. The reporting party said the cameras were ripped off of their location and busted up and the SD Card was taken. A report is pending. 

A noise complaint from the 400 block of North Federal was registered at 3:44 p.m. The reporting party asked to have the music turned down and the request was not honored until police arrived and the music was turned down. 

A loitering complaint was lodged at 9:18 p.m. to a group of 6-8 people in front of a business in the 500 block of east Pershing. The group was not drinking but they were playing loud music according to an RPD report. The group was moved along. 

Riverton Police Blotter from 9/19 to 0700 hours on 9/20/22

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law:-

Louis Yellowfox, 37, Riverton was located and arrested for Public Intoxication after a call reporting a man passed out in the 500 block of North Federal was received. 

Jude Eppler, 18, Riverton was contacted in the 900 block of Moose Drive at 6:47a.m. on the 20th and arrested for Minor Under the Influence with a BAC of .136.

Patrol Calls:

Police were called to the 800 block of East Adams at 10:35 a.m. on a report of several gunshots and people running into an apartment. Officers responded to the area but nothing relevant was located they cleared the scene. 

A parking lot fender bender was reported at 4:01 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Federal  between a Mercury Cougar and a Sienna Van.  A report was taken. 

A report is pending on a complaint that when a resident in the 600 block of Eagle Drive complained about a neighbor being too loud, the neighbor allegedly threatened her. 

A woman who walked into a business in the 800 block of South Federal appeared to the clerks to be very confused. Police contacted the daughter of the 71-year-old woman and a ride home was arranged for her. 

A fender bender at East Jefferson and South Broadway was reported at 7:53 p.m. between a white 2002 Ford F-150 pickup and an orange 2015 Subaru.

Lander Police Blotter from 9/15/22 through 0700 at 9/20/22

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law:

A 17-year-old Lander male was cited at 3:08 p.m. in the 100 block of North Ninth Street for Minor In Possession of Alcohol

Another 17-year-old male of Lander was cited for theft of  a bottle of alcohol and for Minor in Possession at 4:52 p.m. at Mr. D’s Food Center. 

A third 17-year-old Lander boy was cited for Shoplifting/Theft and Minor in Possession of Alcohol at Mr. D’s at 5:44 p .m. , also on the 15th. 

Glenn Burleson, 58, Mills, WY, arrested at 11:14 p.m. on McFarlane Drive in Lander for Public Intoxication

Wilford Hill, 30, was served a LPD Warrant while incarcerated at the Fremont County Detention Center at 1:41 a.m. on the 16th. 

A 17-year-old Lander male was cited for No Drivers License, No Motorcycle Registration and No insurance at Lander Valley High School at 6:54 p.m. 

Joshua Smith Dickerman, 35, Lander was arrested at 12:52 p.m. at the Lander Safeway Store on an Albany County Warrant after being caught shoplifting at the store times two. 

Anastasia Ridgely, 24, Ethete, arrested at 9:59 p.m. for Public Intoxication in the 900 block of Main Street. 

A vehicle eluding law enforcement was stopped on the Lyons Valley Road. The vehicle did not make it into Lander. The incident was reported at 8:21 .m. on the 19th. 

A Lander resident reported a fraud at 9:35 a.m. concerning a bank account. The party was given options. No law enforcement action was taken. 

Russellina Ridgley, 26, Lander, arrested at 7:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of Main Street on a Fremont County Warrant.  

Eugene Ridgley, 61, Ethete, arrested at 7:44 p.m. at 195 Main Street for spitting on cars and being belligerent with customers in the parking lot.

Patrol Calls:

A yard sign was stolen from a yard in the 800 block of South 4th Street overnight on the 15th. 

A two-vehicle fender bender was reported in the parking lot of Mr. D’s Food Center at 1:21 p.m. No injuries. 

Mr. D’s Food Center reported a shoplifting of a candy bar. The suspect is not known. 

Under investigation is the reported theft of money and a tablet from the 1400 block of Main Street by a former employee. The report was made at  7:56 a.m. on the 16th. 

A bicycle was stolen from the 600 block of Fremont Street by an unknown person. The theft was reported at 11:46 a.m.

A report was received of blood near a fence in the 400 block of North 4th Street at 3:59 p.m. It is unknown where or who the blood came from.

A dog was killed by another dog who entered the fenced yard of the deceased dog in the 300 block of Jefferson Street at 5:36 p.m. Police contacted all parties. A report was taken. 

A person walking in the 100 block of Main Street found some cash on the sidewalk and turned it to police at 6:54 p.m. 

A resident of Lander at Clinchard and Main Street reported a dog had attacked his daughter at 7:05 p.m. Police impounded the dog and were looking for its owner. The girl’s hand was checked by Frontier Ambulance personnel. 

A wallet was stolen from a glovebox of an apparently unlocked vehicle at Lander Valley High School. The report came in at 8:59 p.m. 

Two dogs were struck by a vehicle near milepost 81 on Highway 789 near Lander at 9:28 p.m. on the 17th. A report was made. 

Have you ever forgotten to take your groceries when leaving a supermarket? Mr. D’s Food Center contacted police and turned over two wallets and six drivers licenses left by customers. The LPD said the items were returned to their owners. 

Fremont County Sheriff’s Blotter from 9-21-22 to 0700 hours on 9/22/22

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law:

Veronica Stanley, 42, Riverton, arrested at 8:07 a.m. at the FCSO for Bond Violation with a BAC level of 0.104. 

Patrol Calls:

A lost pack mule was reported to the FCSO at 11:18 a.m. from the Sheep Camp Trail at Worthern Meadows.

A report was received at 1:01 p.m. from an address on the Bass Lake Road that a dog had killed chickens. 

The theft of elk and deer antlers was reported at an address on Dutch Ed Lane near Lander at 3:51 p.m. 

A report of vandalism to three windows in a house trailer was called in at 8:00 pm. from an address on Firethorn Lane in Gardens North

The report of a suspicious person or circumstance received at 4:56 a.m. in the Riverton area is under investigation. All other information was redacted from the report. 

Fremont County Sheriff’s Blotter from 9/19 to 0700 hours on 9/20/22

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law

Tanner C. Foust, 26, Riverton, arrested for Fleeing/Attempting to Elude, and a Fremont County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fleeing/Attempting to Elude and an Arrest Warrant from Natrona County. The arrest occurred at 8:21 a.m. on Lyons Valley Road.

Wayne M. Hatch, 32, Riverton, arrested for Use of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Taking a Controlled Substance into a Jail at 11:32 p.m. after he was detained by the BIA Wind River Police and before Fremont County Deputies arrived. 

Christopher A. Scott, 33, Riverton, arrested for Contempt of Court. 

A citation was issued to a dog owner in Pavillion at South Plum Alley and East Houston for a dog at large

Patrol Calls:

A business on Chittum Road reported an extra key was left in its door and a money bag containing $200 to $300 in cash was stolen. The report was made at 8:48 a.m. 

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Riverton Police on a call at 10:35 a.m. in the 800 block of East Adams

A complaint of individuals shooting near the Big Bend Ponds turned out to be subjects shooting at the Black Powder Range there. No violations were observed. 

A boat was reported stolen from an address on Webbwood Road at Riverton at 3:43 p.m.
