The standoff on W. Adams Street in Riverton on Thursday, August 11th that was first reported initially as a possible hostage situation, ended without incident after the children that were in the house were released unharmed after a brief standoff. A Fremont County Warrant for the arrest of Austin Paul, 31 years of age from Riverton, was executed. The suspect was peacefully taken into custody, according to Captain Wes Romero of the Riverton Police Department.
