With polls being closed for just over four hours now many of the unofficial results have provided a pretty clear picture of what the many Mayoral, State and District results will look like once fully confirmed in the coming days.
(REMINDER: RESULTS ARE UNOFFICIAL, CANDIDATES WILL BE CONFIRMED WITHIN THE COMING DAYS. GENERAL ELECTIONS ARE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1)
Two of the unofficially confirmed winners of the night are Harriet Hageman beating incumbent Liz Cheney with almost 66% of the vote.
Another likely winner when the unofficial results become confirmed will be incumbent Mark Gordon winning over Brent Bien with just over 61% of the vote.
And as of 11:18 PM it is Chuck Gray’s campaign that looks to come out on top with over 95% of the votes being reported and Gray ahead with 49.6% to Nethercott’s 41.2%.
Ron Fabrizius has all but confirmed his victory in the District 3 County Commissioner votes with over 95% of the ballots being reported.
As for County Commissioner in District Four there is a tight race but looks to be leaning toward Michael Jones with 95% of the votes being reported.
Kristy Green has won the District Court Clerk primary vote over Karl Falken, unofficially, with almost 99% of the votes already being reported.
Lynnette Greybull has been declared the winner of the Democratic States Representative over Meghan Jensen, with over 95% of the districts reported already, but needs to be confirmed within the coming days.
The Governor’s race on the Democratic side seems to be in the hands of Theresa Livingston, over 95% of the districts being reported.
Now, onto the Mayoral decisions that the Fremont County voters have decided:
The Mayor of Dubois has been close throughout the night but with almost all of the votes accounted for it would appear Jason Kintzler will not win over Patricia Neveaux, all results will still need to be confirmed.
(Below) the Mayoral race in Shoshoni has been close between incumbent Joel Highsmith and Jordan Whitener. Highsmith currently has the upper hand with 95% of the votes reported.
One of two incumbent Mayors up for re-election to currently find themselves in a hole with 95% of the district reporting is Lander Mayor Monte Richardson who is looking up at Dan Hahn at 11:30 PM.
The other incumbent who finds themselves down is Riverton Mayor Richard Gard, who currently finds himself 200+ votes behind Tim Hancock with 95% of the district reporting.
