
Long time Resident celebrates 100 years

Mrs. Julia B. Nichtern, longtime Riverton resident and current resident of Wind River Rehabilitation Center turned 100 years old on Thursday while those friends and family in the center shared in the celebration.
Julia has been a resident at the Wind River rehabilitation center for approximately 5 years according to staff and her charisma is part of the charm here. According to Julia, she hails from Torrington Wy. and moved to Riverton in 1958 with her husband. While she tended the two boys, he was a carpenter.
Julia loves the outdoors and gardening but her favorite pastime is walking. She stated that “the secret of long life is walking and keeping people around you.”
She states that she loves the “Gals” that work at Wind River Rehab.
